As I mentioned in my blog post on Monday, this week is devoted solely to the missing in honor of February 3rd having been National Missing Persons Day. The more we get the information out about those who are missing, the more likely we are to see closure, in whatever form that may be.
The posts this week will cover a handful of people, with a short blurb about them, with potentially more information being shared about them in the future, if there is any to share. I say that only because in my research for this week, I came across numerous missing people with hardly any information to go off of. I believe these are just as important to share... because we don't have much to go off of, therefore, sharing may be the only way we can potentially help the case move forward.
On to the missing...
ANNE BERRYMAN JUSTUS - NamUs #MP76827
There is not much information I could find on Anne, only what was listed on the NamUs page. There was also no description as to the circumstances of her disappearance.
She went missing in August of 2020 from Hopewell, Prince George County, Virginia; last date of contact was listed as August 5th. At the time of her disappearance, Anne was 44. She was described as a white female, 5'3"-5'4", 80-150 lbs. She has brown hair that may be long and graying, and green eyes.
She does have some distinct features in that she has tattoos. She has a lobster on one of her breasts with the initials MSB, and a sun on her hip (which was noted as possibly on her right hip).
Anne would now be 48 years old. If you have any information about Anne or her disappearance, please contact the Surry County Sheriff's Office.
WANDA MECHELLE SAPP - NamUs #MP107362
Again, not much can be found on Wanda, just the information from NamUs. Wanda was reported missing by her ex-husband after family had not heard from her for around six months.
Her last date of contact is listed as December 1, 2020 from Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. When she went missing, she was 55 years old, and would now be 58.
Wanda is described as an African American/Black female, 5'8" and 240 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
If you have any information about Wanda's disappearance, please contact the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department at (704) 336-4978; case number: 20210516-0910-00.
ANGEL RUBEN VAZQUEZ PATINO - NamUs #MP92698
Angel was last seen on June 9, 2022, crossing the border from Piedras Negras, Mexico, into Eagle Pass, Maverick County, Texas, which is where he is listed as missing from.
He is listed as a Hispanic/Latino male with black hair and brown eyes. He is described as being between 5'0" and 5'3" and 160 lbs. When we went missing, he was wearing his prescription glasses, ear studs, a black tee shirt with a long-sleeve, camouflage shirt (which may have also been black - the description is confusing). He also had on blue jeans that had a rip on the right side, and black work boots in size 26.
With him, he had a camouflage bag, his Mexican IDs, passport, praying cards, and his wallet.
His distinctive features include his ear piercings, a scar on his right eyebrow, and a small mole under his right eye.
When he went missing, Angel was only 31, and would now be 33 years old.
If you know Angel's whereabouts or have any information, please contact the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office at (956) 383-8114, Case #22-30023.
