I have had a deep fascination with all things true crime, spooky, and weird for as long as I can remember. The more I read, listened to, or watched, the more I fell in love with insanity and the darkness.
I realized some time ago that I wanted to share my love of the darkness with those of you who love it as well, and especially those of you that have not taken that dive yet. I also have a love for writing, so this blog is my attempt to do so, while exploring all of my favorite things.
Insanity can be beautiful in the strangest of ways. Hence, the name.

About the Author
I am a little of everything you are about to consume. Maybe that sounds a little weird, but that's me. My name is Stevie, and yes, I was named for the Goddess that is Stevie Nicks. I am a future librarian with a past in childcare, a music junkie, genealogy buff, free spirit, old soul, and a hippie at heart.
Though this blog has been a dream of mine for some time, my future is what made me finally take the leap. I had to do a project on a technology I was unfamiliar with, but that I may need to use in my career. I chose to build a website and kill two birds with one stone, so the birth of my dream finally happened.
I have dealt with my share of odd experiences and encounters, near misses, possible escapes, and embarked on a few descents into madness myself, so I'm sure those experiences play into my need to delve into the darkness.
